This course is aimed at those who have completed our introductory day or have some experience in the art of pottery. Over the 4-week term (2 hours per week) you'll learn everything you need to begin your own practice sessions. The course will cover different types of hand building techniques, the clay joining process, throwing and learning to center consistently, and trimming pots – thrown and hand built.
You will also learn different decoration and glazing methods with workable clay, using different colours and finishes for your piece and how to add texture and apply patterns. There will also be an introduction to sculpture to get your creative juices flowing.
Costs and details:
· Course start April 16th from 6–8pm every Thursday evening
· $300 (inc. GST) – all materials and tools, clay, glazing and firing included
· Limited spots available – 6-8 people per course only
· Drinks and nibbles at the end of each session

· The remaining balance of $250.00 is due on the first day of your lessons
