Sollys Shed is finally opening!
Food has been used as a medium and subject matter in art for centuries, capturing the beauty of everyday objects and the vibrancy of gatherings. Still life art, which often features food and wine, can be a celebration of material pleasures or a creative take on the mundane. It can evoke pleasure, inspire creativity, and even define cultures through artistic expression. The artistic touches that dress our tables and display our food, like all art, engage our senses and have the power to bring people together. Sollys Shed is opening with an exhibition of visual art works centred around Gourmet and will include visual art, exquisite napery and table accessories.
The exhibition will be open Thursday 29th May to Sunday 1st June from 11.30am - 3.00pm each day.
From the 5th June Sollys Shed will be open every Thursday - Sunday from 11.30am - 3.00pm
Iconic Bucolic
Sollys Shed is presenting “Iconic Bucolic” as part of the South Australian Living Artists Festival in August 2024. This is our inaugural exhibition and features 5 local artists.
Iconic Bucolic features artworks in a mix of mediums that invite the viewer to experience each artists personal narratives of the boundless colours, imagery and symbolism of rural Australia.
